Colo said that since eth0:0 was the same as eth0 that I could safely delete
the file /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0:0.

I did this and the monitor quit complaining.  Is that file built
automatically?  Will it get rebuilt some time down the road?
