It's not a dumb statement, just a generalised assumption. The <abbr>
question does pop up from time to time on some css lists and forums.

My point however was that _if_ you are 'concerned' about the rating
on the compatibility list, it's a possible solution. On the other
hand, caring for all possible IE6 stupid things results almost in
sheer madness ;-)
