Chris thanks for your response, you are right that css is extensible.

In addition I'd like to point out, and encourage, the fact that blueprint
supports a very simple plug-in framework.  So developers should feel free to
not only ask questions like this but be encouraged to develop the
functionality as a plugin when one does not already exist.  This will help
blueprint evolve as a framework and become the framework of choice because
of the number of plugins it provides over the core.
