I think that it works just fine. The range of the remote is ok for me (roughly 20 yards). When I push the button it always double-locks the doors. I don't have to push the button twice (once to lock and then another to double-lock). A feature I wish for is the option to turn off the chirp and have it flash the lights instead. You can turn the chirp on/off but it doesn't know how to flash the lights. Cars that come with the alarm installed may have the glass breakage sensor set incorrectly. I'm sure the alarm in my 328 sedan isn't right. I can bang on the glass as hard as I like (or dare) and not set it off. I have'nt gotten around to changing the sensitivity setting. If you install your own you'll get to set it up right. - ------------------------------------------------ > Date: Fri, 28 Jan 2000 12:52:37 -0500 > From: "Binder, Larry - Paoli" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: [uuc] BMW factory alarm, 3d model > > I am planning on purchasing an alarm for my BMW and was wondering if you > guys (and gals) could tell me your opinions on the BMW factory alarm.
