I have a extra motor siting in my backyard right now and could send the stock pulley to someone that could make these Underdrive Pulleys. I know that it won't free up that much power but it seams like this is a over looked mod for us E30 guys. If someone could make them I think they might be able to turn a profit of making these. Any insights or short comings welcome. Just a thought to get these list talking about E30 proformance mods again. TNA, Kyle Sanchez __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? I need the list to help diagnose a problem with my 1994 325i E36. It has been cold here lately (0 F-10F) and this may be a contributor to the problem. I have had intermittent problems with the idle. When depressing the clutch, the RPMs sometimes drop to 400 RPM and it has stalled on occasion. Most times the idle hovers around 600 RPM with the clutch depressed and the car in gear. I don't remember if this is the normal idle, but I thought it was higher (800 RPM?) before. I guess I am asking what has or is failing. What can I do to diagnose and fix this problem? This is an intermittent problem, but I wonder if it is going to get worse. Any help would be appreciated. Hylomar is the goods when there are surface imperfections precluding a satisfactory dry bond (gee where'd the get the name for the German goo?), and I have noticed there are a lot of bubbles in the head casting along the cam cover sealing lip. While I'm sure DreiBond works great, I don't know where to find it conveniently either. Remember though, less is better. Any RTV that you see squeeze out of the area when you bolt down the cover, is indicative of how much just squeezed INTO your engine. RTV floating around inside your engine is a VERY bad thing. To give you an idea of how little to use, you should be able to see through it. I've never finished a tube of this stuff, they always go hard when about 3/4 full because I don't use it fast enough. One tube = 6 months or more in my shop. - ----------------------------------------------------- BMW Special Tool Rentals Pay per incident tech support - ----------------------------------------------------- Brett Anderson KMS (440) 338 1650 www.koalamotorsport.com OSS committee member - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jamie Howton" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > I am planning on replacing my leaking valve cover gasket within the next > few weeks (S50US).
