Excellent observation!

Unfortunately true.

I did not read the quote thoroughly, but it appeared to me that this
legislation was a typical knee-jerk reaction to one single event. I
certainly don't mean to make that teenager's life seem unimportant, but laws
must be based on statistics and probability -- otherwise we would all be
locked up in Fort Knox or something -- no cars, trains, or planes. There
isn't much question that most politicians fall into that 95% category.

Dude,

Give me a 5.4L DOHC making 388 hp and 383 ft-lb naturally aspirated with
double-wishbone front, IRS, four-piston Brembos front and rear, and I
don't care what the interior quality and NVH are! I wonder if it would
be possible to get one of these into the US and registered...easier in
some states than others I'm sure. Hey, I'm willing to move to South
Dakota - as an added bonus I'd get the chance to vote against Tom
Dasch-hole in the next election!

Group,

I'm contemplating the purchase of three manufacturers to replace my two
rear tires (255/35/18). Of the three below, does anyone have a
particular favorite or rationale as to why one manufacturer would be
better than the other. If it helps in the assessment, I do not track my
car. Are any of these better in the rain than the others?

Any help would be appreciated!

Yokohama AVS ES100
Kumho ECSTA Supra 712

I had the E36 gauge problem as well.

Do an google on "e36 + gauge + problem"

If I remeber (like I don't do much anymore hehe) correct
there something about your key inside while filling.

I can't recall any restore procedure.

Good luck, E36 is buggy! :/

So what you can do is to become on of the 5% who don't care what legal or not.

I found happyness in this.

My orgins are really from sweden, just left of finland.

Finish people I observe as like other scandinavians quite nice, but kinda slow.
Also finish have some serious drinking problems.

What you need to know about speed regulation is that
it's based around your income, so watch out!

There many cool roads up north, and friend of me went flying there last summer.

Subject: [uuc] Lightnings and your response

John,
My original note first addressed the statement that Ford in OZ was
somehow not capable of building RHD vehicles. I said what I said to segue
to the more important issue of national safety/emissions "standards" and the
re-engineering sometimes required to meet such standards. I was trying to
explain that the decision to import a vehicle line is not simply a marketing
one. A 'close to home' example is the BMW line-up. BMW offers far more
engine and trim choices in Europe than here. Some of these engines would
probably sell in reasonable numbers in some US markets; though not in
sufficient numbers to justify the cost of EPA certification.
             Best,
                  Ben White/Ocean Springs, MS

IIRC you bought a C-class, right ? the corporate nannying strategy that
Mercedes has, I think the answer is that there's no easy way. short of
finding the fuses to pull, which would likely set fault codes and might
lose the ABS function as well, which you wouldn't want to do.

If you are triggering the brake assist in normal driving, something is wrong
with it. It should be easy to trigger, unplug the actuator which is usually
on the brake booster. That may set off a warning light.

I wonder why a 4.6 liter 4 valve per cylinder engine needs a supercharger to
make 390 hp. It should make that power without the supercharger.

Low compression and less weak cam profiles/timing give it good fuel economy
and emissions, then the supercharger adds back the lost power.
