And yes, I did misspell Kendall. And as for you Scott, my car's old enough to smoke, but doesn't exhale the smoke - it creates it externally. It was actually pretty cool watching the lady pump jockey back away from my car in Eastern Oregon as the smoke started rolling out from under the passenger front fender after a pretty long warm run. Made me feel dangerous. Made her have visions of a column of smoke rising in the desert where her pumps and geedunk store used to be. Bardahl. Hah! Next you'll be claiming I run motor honey. I just bought an old Euro E21 323i rust free! runs strong, new exhaust, brakes, tires and shocks but the car is in need of an interior along with front and rear windows and a steering column! The keys for this car were lost a long time ago . . and the previous owner destroyed the existing column to make it run . . . Best of all would be a tired 320i in the New England area . . . I've been previously busy with my '88 e30 M3, converting it to a Ground Control suspension and doing most of the basic mods. I'm holding back on major engine work as it only has about 50k on it. It's in very nice shape and is used as a summer car and in the local drivers school. My question however is regarding my '97 M3/4. I bought it a little over a year ago with 40k mi- a babied older guy's car. Right away I started messing with it, installing a Bilstein PSS-9 suspension set up, K-Mac plates and GC rear shock mounts. I've had the car on the track and the feel is great.Ok- the question is regarding a check engine light that says secondary air system- low flow. I'm told this means the air pump and some sort of valve need to be replaced. How hard is this to fix and does it need to be fixed? Isn't this just an emissions thing?
