Sorry: news, bad news. http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/5158/einsteinpreempted.png
One Einstein task preempted after 45 minutes. A few minutes earlier, the same machine viewed remotely: http://img2.imageshack.us/img2/7049/einsteinpreempted2.png Both Einstein tasks preempted - one at 36:26, the other at 43:38 (BV shows CPU, BM elapsed time - I doubt there was a 1:22 run between the dumps) [I took the remote screenshot as a precaution, because I often find that opening BM, and/or resuming mouse/keyboard activity, triggers a task switch - as it seems to have done in this case. Has this been remarked on before?] I'll go and preserve the logs, and try and find you the meaningful sections to upload. More follows. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Haselgrove" <r.haselgr...@btinternet.com> To: "Richard Haselgrove" <r.haselgr...@btinternet.com>; "David Anderson" <da...@ssl.berkeley.edu> Cc: "BOINC Developers Mailing List" <boinc_dev@ssl.berkeley.edu> Sent: Friday, April 24, 2009 2:05 PM Subject: Re: [boinc_dev] 6.6.20 and work scheduling >> I'll give a good test when the next build is out, but I won't be able to >> reproduce the experimental conditions until Einstein is issuing work >> again - >> dry on all relevant boxes.
