The credit stuff in peoples forum profile is something unique to the BOINC
forums and is actually one of its best features! Its excellent for a variety
of reasons. Remember that people love to watch credit and stats! When i read
the forums, i regularly look to see what RAC someone is clocking. Its also
important to see at a glance when someone joined the project.

I would be just happy to see the persons country or flag added, i agree that
the persons user ID might not be necessary but can be handy at times
