Those are useful options, but you still need to have a
project, workunit, result etc.
Adam's asking for something different: to be able to run
a job under the BOINC client without a server.
Sort of an extension of the anonymous platform mechanism.

This would be a valuable feature.
I'll think about how to implement it; may take a little while.
