Is Internet Explorer still configured to use proxy.xxx.xxx.xxx:81 on
that machine?

Is that machine configured to run BOINC as a service or as the user?

That's the problem, that I do not know where the proxy.xxx.xxx.xxx:81
comes from. I know that this is a proxy which was used in the company
half a year ago, but which doesn't work anymore.
