Yoyo, I think you can do the majority of this today, I think the only thing we are missing is a way to set the skin.
You should be able to: 1. Install the version of BOINC you desire on a computer. 2. Copy the contents of the executable directory (C:\Program Files\BOINC) to the root of the flash drive 3. Copy the account_* files you want to the root of the flash drive Create a file called autorun.inf which contains: [autorun] open=boincmgr.exe Next you'll need to delete the registry entries the installer and the manager use: HKLM\Software\Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley\BOINC Setup HKCU\Software\Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley\BOINC Manager HKCU\Software\Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley\BOINC Screensaver You should be good to go. Next time you plug the flash drive in the computer BOINC Manager should launch using the simple view and attach to the desired projects. Boinc should be completely installed on the USB stick and run from there. At least this was possible with version 5.x. I have this version on a nfs network drive and start it from various computers, which never before had any Boinc installation. We want to place a account_<project>.xml with the weak account key in the Boinc folder.
