An apparently unrelated matter affects some of the owners of the computers known to have a problem. This is in cases where another person has noticed the problem. It's almost impossible to send a private message to these owners because email notification of PMs is disabled by default. I know all the reasons why this decision was taken but it's a pity that we have the perfect means of getting some of the problems fixed but are unable to use it.
