Hello list,
hope this isn't off topic here, but I really need help with this issue and, as
this is a totally new area for me I'm really not sure how I could help myself.
So, I have a Mac Pro running Mac OS 10.6.4 and the BOINC client. Now, I just
got a new graphics card, an Envidia Quadro FX 4800 which I built into the Mac.
The card is recognised in System Profiler and seems to operate just fine, I
still have my older GForce running and my Cinema Display connected to that. The
new graphics card features 192 GPU processor cores which I'd like to use for
BOINC calculations. However, when I launch BOINC, it reports in the log file
that no usable GPUs were found... Please, could someone tell me what I have to
do? There are no software updates for the graphics card or anything, and I
can't think of any other way to enable the GPUs. Help would be greatly
appreciated, thanks!
Robin
