There is only one project (really) for the Mac and that is Collatz and it should be able to use the GT120. I have the older 8800GT and it runs just fine.
I think the directions are a little bit wrong and you also need the CUDA toolkit installed. I cannot remember off the top of my head which order you have to install the toolkit and drivers but know that there is a thread or three on Collatz where this was discussed. I don't have time ATM to go looking for for the threads ... maybe this afternoon.
