Right now ATI doesn't ship the OpenCL ICD with its Linux driver, one needs to install the SDK manually. I'm already in contact with ATI and they consider my suggestion to change that in future releases. This shouldn't be an issue on Mac OS although we do have indications that 10.6 and ATI GPUs don't work together flawlessly. I'll look into the Windows setup as well to see what's going on there.
