It isn't just mobile users that have problems with the old forums. Anyone with a slow or unstable connection has problems. That includes Satellite, Dialup, and mobile hot spot users.

I must have forgotten. In any case, 3rd party apps exist for dealing with forums on mobile devices. And they are much better than trying to read forums in tiny mobile browsers. We should put the hooks into the BOINC forums, so that people can use them. This would solve the problem, without having to change the BOINC forums for the web-based members.
