I wasn't thinking about jump-to-unread, although jump-to-unread uses 
jump-to-post as far as I remember. I was talking about the links that 
take you directly to a particular post. Every post has it in their header.

With the new system a link like that won't work anymore, because 
different users may have different page settings. So I was just saying 
that, amongst other things, we need an intermediate jump to calculate 
where to send the user if they click such a jump-to-post link.
