Sure - I have a prototype up and running under AWS if you want to have a look.
If you're interested I also have Fabric and puppet scripts that will spin up a
new instance and do all the config etc.

The website is
http://23.23.126.96/pogs/

If you don't have a BOINC client installed follow the instructions for
installing it and add the project
http://ec2-23-23-126-96.compute-1.amazonaws.com/pogs/

If you have a 7.0.15+ client then just add the project
http://ec2-23-23-126-96.compute-1.amazonaws.com/pogs/

We're doing Spectral Energy Distribution calculations on Galaxies. Ultimately
we'll be doing about 100,000 of them. The model files are about 15 - 20MB in
size.

I use the BOINC wrapper as the code that does the heavy lifting is in Fortran.
50 pixels takes about 12-20 hours

Kevin

That was wishful thinking.
Locality scheduling has not in fact been rewritten,
though some design work has been done.

Can you tell us about your application, like
- how big is the overall data set?
- how big are the files?
- how many (and how long) jobs are associated with each file?
... and anything else that might be relevant.
We'll take this into account in our design.

Folks

Has anything been written on how the new Locality Scheduling System?

The web page (http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/LocalityScheduling) says this

NOTE: THE FOLLOWING IS MOSTLY DEPRECATED; THE LOCALITY SCHEDULING SYSTEM HAS
BEEN REWRITTEN. CONTACT US FOR MORE INFO.
