http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Anonymous_platform used to be linked from the front page of the BOINC User Manual (http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/User_manual), via 'Make your own client software '. On 23 May 2012, that link was redirected to point to instructions for building BOINC itself - the usual client/application terminology confusion. Would anyone object to a separate * Build {make, install, deploy} your own application software link (pointing to the anonymous platform page), in addition to the 'client software' link in its new form?
