Hi,

what I think happened here is:

1. BOINC v7 created those new users to give you more security for your 
pc. Thus the auto-logon feature of X doesn't know which user to login. 
To correct this you can follow this help: 
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windowsxp/ht/auto-logon-xp.htm and 
manually set your own user account to auto log-on. This should resolve 
the first problem.

2. This is a feature called lock desktop when screensaver activates. 
This can also be deactivated: On your desktop, right click properties, 
under screen saver make sure "on resume, display login screen" is 
NOTchecked. You can also disable screen saver there. (from:
