We are approaching the home stretch of the second Git migration.
Our tentative plan is on or around the 22nd of March we will start doing active development out of the v2 repo. Basically the v1 repo will be switched to read-only mode and any last minute changes will be migrated to the v2 repo. After that all future development work will happen out of the v2 repo. Between now and then could you all checkout the v2 repo and see if it works for you. Using Windiff I didn't find anything unexpected in the master, 7.0a, 7.0b, and wxWidgets 3.0 branches. By unexpected I mean we knew about the missing files in v1, differences in RCSID tags, and the other stuff Oliver has pointed out already.
