Getting somewhat different results on Windows 10 Insider Build
16281.1000 and the In Use Timer
(Windows 10 64 bit OS, Windows 10 Creators Update (insiders release)
_Without_ being in Task Manager, when I set BOINC to suspend when "In
Use" to .1 minutes, BOINC starts processing in six seconds, processes
for 1 or 2 seconds, but then immediately suspends again for 6 seconds,
then processes for a second or so, then suspends again for six seconds
-- in a continuing cycle.
_With_ Task Manager on any TAB except Details, the behavior above
continues. When on the Details tab BOINC suspends and never
restarts...so the problem continues on the latest Windows insider release.
Windows 10 Creators Update is planned for General Availability release
on Nov 14th, so not sure this is a show stopper for releasing 7.8.2 at
this time (my view)....though it should be solved by Microsoft before
Creators Update is released.
