MADRID (AFP) - Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz ruled out a move by the English Premiership side for Real Madrid pair Michael Owen and Iker Casillas. Former Real Madrid coach Queiroz said that he admired both players but they were not in the plans of the Old Trafford side, nor was Luis Figo, who is set to leave Madrid this summer. "I admire Casillas but he is not in Manchester's plans. Owen does not interest us either," Queiroz said in an interview with Radio Marca. Figo is a fantastic player, who has the quality and professional attitude to still play in any team, but there has been no negotiations," Queiroz said Friday. Queiroz said that Real have not made an offer for United winger Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been linked with the Spanish side in recent weeks. "Real Madrid has not contacted Manchester about Cristiano Ronaldo."
