Kalau sampai dilatih Lippi masih jadi pecundang juga, berarti memang
PECUNDANG PERMANEN. Rubah dulu deh cara pandang pecinta Sepakbola
Inggris tentang arti sebuah prestasi. Selama mereka masih seenaknya
aja menyebut si ini hebat, si itu hebat tanpa melihat fakta sebenarnya
selamanya mereka akan menjadi pecundang.
Kesalahan besar di sini gw lihat, pertama ketika penggemar Liga
Inggris bilang Eric Cantona hebat, sekarang mereka bilang Arsene
Wenger hebat. Padahal Juara Liga Champions aja ga pernah, kemarin gw
geli liat komentator di ANTEVE bilang prestasi Arsene Wenger sangat
luar biasa, baik di Inggris maupun di Eropa. Bah, di Eropa prestasi
tertinggi dia cuma bawa Arsenal ke final Liga Champions. Kalau cuma
final Liga Champions aja, Lippi ini sudah 4x tampil di final Liga
Champions.
Tambah lagi, sekarang mereka bilang Wyne Rooney striker hebat, padahal
jadi Top Skor aja ga pernah. Perlihatkan dulu "prestasi", baru bisa
bilang hebat....
Ciao

Lippi To Be Offered England Job - Report
The English FA are set to offer Marcello Lippi the national team
manager's job, according to the Corriere dello Sport.
The 59-year-old has been out of work since resigning as boss of the
Azzurri following the World Cup triumph in Germany last summer.
According to the 'Corriere', an FA representative flew out to Italy to
discuss personal terms with Lippi, before coming to an initial
agreement with him.
Until now Lippi was not considered as that high up on the English FA's
shortlist, mainly due to the fact that he does not speak English.
Ex-Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is the favourite with the bookmakers,
and when asked yesterday if he would take the job, he replied "why
not".
The only high-profile candidate to so far declare that they want the
position is former Real Madrid, Roma, Milan and Juventus tactician
Fabio Capello.
Reports in the English press suggest that a new manager to replace the
sacked Steve McClaren will be in place before the New Year.
The Three Lions failed to qualify for Euro 2008 after an embarrassing
3-2 home defeat to Croatia at Wembley in their final qualifier.

What happen if England got into a final with Italy and the English
side loss, will everyone call it cheat !!?
Tifosi, Viet Nam 12/9/2007 8:34 AM
haha,FA should open an Italian class for all members of England if
they are going to choose Lippi.Lippi is the best Master, and there is
no reason to become a Coach of the Square like England.

I agree with Tony on one thing, bringing in tactical coaches like
capello or lippi does go against everything the english national team
stands for - which is crap football. The whole problem with England is
that in the premier league the crash and bash direct football 90% of
clubs play (barring arsenal and man Unt/possibly liverpool at times)
will not work against smarter and more tactically aware European
powers from Italy, Germany, Spain & France. This can be seen through
the fact that Chelsea, the ultimate player of rubbish football (long
ball to drogba 200% of the time) has not and will not win a Champions
league. At least under Ranieri with Zola and Hasselbank etc they
played decent football. My point is England play crap, but
entertaining football that will not win them anything ever because
they do not have any intelligence.

Lippi? England??? Nooooooooooooo! Italia! Italia!

Lippi is just TOO good for England! Don't waste your time on them man.

lippi will be the best coach for england
Peter C, Canada 12/8/2007 7:06 PM
Oh come on, not even the national inquirer would speculate on a story
like this—and they report foolishness like UFOs having sex with
Hollywood stars. Lippi made no reference to this kind of thing. He
wants club football and he'll probably go back to Juve at the end of
the season save Ranieri wins Serie A. Plus, he is not a traitor to the
Italian cause. Cappello might be, but not Lippi.

DON'T DO IT, MARCELLO!!! You are too good of a tactician to take over
such an overrated squad! Every great coach that has taken the helm of
the English NT over the years 10 or so years has committed career
suicide as a result! Just go back to coaching club football and
winning more championships at the club level instead of destroying
your reputation. We've already seen that this squad doesn't have what
it takes to play intelligent, tactical football.
Lapz, Nice, France 12/8/2007 5:15 PM
Can one leave a world class team like Italy to manage a bunch of
no-hopers? I hope not. Therefore I make this plea to Marcello Lippi:
you have a great reputation to defend and have succeeded everywhere
(except Inter, but that barely counts!); please don't humiliate
yourself by taking such a foolish gamble!
Ahmed, ksa 12/8/2007 4:55 PM
noooo. he should go back 2 juv this summer
