No hassle with a database.
You create pages and store your data on the pages.
Then use the search function to retrieve the data. Using templates
will help you to pull out exactly the data chunks you are looking for,
nicely formatted.
Or use shortcuts to access the data if you know pagename and label (eg
{pagexy:title} ).
There are different ways to do this:
- Writing text on the page and doing a fulltext-search
- Using variables like text variables (eg. Name: Daisuke) or data
fields (stored invisible on the page, check action.data) and doing a
search for label and value.
- Using the hierarchic urls (eg. fruits.sweet.banana or
fruits.sour.lemon) and doing a search for parts of the url.
- Using one or all of the above for a page that is associated to
another page (log or list)
The search function checks the index first, so make sure that your
pages are indexed.
You can find tutorials for all this and much more on Boltwire.com.
Greetings, Martin
