I need the passdata command to pass the concatenation of two vars: a
var already passed as GET value and another from a form field:
[form]
[text var]
[session mycommand {?var}{=var}]
[session passdata var] /* HOW? */
[submit]
[form]
mycommand works fine, it receives the current {?var} and the new
{=var} together, but how do I pass the same to the page with the GET
label "var", so the concatenation will be {?var} in the next "loop"? I
think I have to change the value of var, but I have not found a
BoltWire command to do that.
Only in http://boltwire.com/index.php?p=docs.tutorials.forms
I have found the something that maybe has something to do:
<<
The content of field1 can be inserted into field2 by using the markup
{=field1} as the value of field2. These are called field replacements.
>>
But I don't understand it. I believe it's about using form fields like
default values for other form fields, not what I need.
Maybe I need a customized version of passdata? The command arguments
would be both the var label and the desired value. I have seen the
source of passdata and it seems easy to write a command to do what I
need, but I wonder if there's another way.
Thank you,
Marcos
