I think on the BW core pages for create/update, you should go with an ID on the FORM and a little CSS for the textarea. Folks can add additional CSS in their skins for the other form elements that are located within that FORM ID. If you use a class, you wouldn't have the ability to easily modify CSS for other elements within the form. I don't think you need to worry about more than one form for the core distribution?
