Anywhere between the <head> </head> section of the HTML page. Most browsers then, when they see it will add an RSS indicator somewhere on the top of the browser page that you can click to "subscribe" to the RSS feed.
Example: www.tnetweather.com Works with FF, MSIE and Safari, but apparently not chrome which is a bit weird. o FF puts it left of the URL window RSS icon o MSIE (at least 8) places an rssfeed icon on the tabs line to the right. o Safari puts a blue RSS icon to the right of the URL window.
