Can't seem to get this to work. If I send &lt; to my browser (chrome) it still gets converted to <, not <. Not what I would expect, and very aggravating... Any ideas for a workaround? I suppose we can live with this automatic conversion thing, but it is irritating to me at least. As for the $, it works as long as I keep it escaped in the domarkup function. But, I sure would like to understand the cause of the problem and fix it there if possible. Maybe 3.2.4 is good enough for your needs, but I sure wish I could get the best of both worlds.
