The Tree plugin allows you to move files to new locations, but links have to be fixed. I don't have any ideas for how to do that fixing automatically, without some kind of link indexing system... Perhaps something could be generated as a plugin--though I'm not sure I want that in the core. Not opposed, just seems like a complexity...
Oh, we did talk about scanning the stamps for a record of where a page has been moved... Assuming stamps are made. I don't believe tree does that at present.
