Hi,
I'm sorta new to working with wikis and to BoltWire in particular. I
have a desktop installation of MoinMoin wiki but do not like its lack
of namespaces. So I'm looking for another wiki that better suits my
needs and tastes.
One thing I *do* like about MoinMoin wiki, however, is the edit on
double-click. What a timesaver!
Wikimatrix notes that BoltWire has this functionality, but the only
thing I can find about it anywhere on the www is the "plugin" here:
http://www.boltwire.com/index.php?p=solutions.system.editdblclick
- and a post with replies here in this group:
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg01413.html
I have only just installed Boltwire (version 3.4.12 on Macbook Pro
running Mac OS 10.5.8 - Leopard) and cannot from the above pages
figure out how to activate this feature. The "plugin" instructions
tells me to:
"Go to code.skinvars and add this line:"
It is not clear what "code.skinvars" is referring to. I'm assuming it
is referring to a file somewhere. The closest I get to finding
something like it is in the folder:
/Users/my_user/Sites/boltwire3/boltwire/barn/system/
- but there is no file called code.skinvars. The closest I get is
"code.skin" and "code.skin.print".
It goes on to tell me this:
"Then in your skin's body tag put $$dblclick, like this:
<body $$dblclick>"
I'm guessing that the two "$" are garbled instructions to put in
two $-signs. And my "skin's body tag", is that the body tag I find in
the file:
/Users/my_user/Sites/boltwire3/boltwire/barn/system/code.skin
?
Please help me understand how to activate the edit on double-click
feature in BoltWire? I can't imagine working in a wiki without it.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Jens Larsen
