My sister and I talk a lot about our mother making her comments. A lot of times I
think she doesn't think what she says. But we will never change her. She thinks of
what she says is nothing that we are the ones that are too sensitive. What she said to
my son was unforgivable. I told her about it and she deined it. She told me she would
never have said that to her grandson. But she did I was sitting right next to her. My
husband was there too and he heard it. Of all times to say something it was on
Christmas. he ran upstairs to his room and would never come out til she was gone. My
mother even tried to knock on his door but no response. She didn't know why he was
acting that way. Geez

I know what you mean! My Mom, who lived to be 100 (because she NEVER
kept anything in) was not always kind in her comments either.
