I'm torn between being excited and bugged.  Is it just me, or are more books being 
adapted for the silver screen?  I hate to think about how many kids have adapted the 
attitude: [casual shrug] I'll just see the movie.
 
Besides, the book is terrific.  Nearly the whole female part of the family has read it 
(including aunts).
 
On the plus side, Alexis Bleidel is Lena (Bleidel is Rory on Gilmore Girls).
