I can say that I easily spend more money on books since joining BC. Before, I would buy books at used bookstores only, perhaps once a year would I buy a book from the firsthand market. Now, I still do the UBS thing, but I would say that 1/3 of what I buy is brand new. Plus, when I really like a book, I try to get at least two copies of it for releasing.
