Anna, thanks for this feed back! The books from my local library's sale were a mixture of fiction and non-fiction. Some of the books were certainly out of date and I have tossed a few that were obviously too old fashioned to be of any good to anyone. Some were craft books that were 'too well loved' and falling apart. I have snaffled them to use with my 'after school care' service - we can still use them as a resource even if they are not robust enough to with-stand the rigours of being borrowed. The hardcover fction novels are still read-able and hopefully will still be appreciated by some-one. So there was a variety of reasons the books were weeded from the library. They sold a heap, but these were the left overs and certainly some need to see the inside of the local dumpster, but not all of them. Your insight into the issue was helpful though, thanks! :-) Mim ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> What would our lives be like without music, dance, and theater?
