I actually say that I got sucked into White Oleander very much against
my will. I didn't like the movie and I was expecting not to like the
book. But it's a weird thing with me that if I know a movie I've seen
is based on a book then I need to read the book. I think the book is a
better read but the story still bothers me. The main character is
emotionally twisted and a whiny sort. The angtagonist is a self-
indulgent narcissist. LOL I guess if the characters got to me, for
better or worse, it's a good book, right?
Heart full of lies is an in-between other books book. Haven't gotten
but a chapter or two into it. It's a little slower than some of the
other True Crime books I've read.
I have been reading the Dark Tower FOREVER. I sort of like that I've
spent approximately ten years plus (eek!) following Roland and his
friends to the Dark Tower. They are definately molasses compared to
the Stand which I read in a few days and have re-read many times
since...
What are you currently reading?
