At my post office there are two clerks that I always
go to. I have brought books in to be weighed and they
are aware that I am a bookcrosser. They also see me
standing in line... reading. They automatically ask
"media mail"? Sometimes the book is thin enough to go
cheaper by 1st class. I've been very lucky with
sending books, no PMs asking if I sent the book.

I was recently told very politely by a post office
worker to not seal media mail packages anymore and
bring packing tape with me. So she can inspect it
right then and there and then I seal it. Don't know
if
that prevents them from peeking around again later.
