i know that at least my local post office is aware of
bookcrossing, and whenever i send media mail, they ask
me about it.  i'm sure lots of other mail personnel
are aware of it, as well.  what's unfortunate is that
most folks don't insure media mail packages, nor do
they attach "return receipt requested" options to
their packages.  i'm wondering if i should do this
now; i've sent out stuff that never arrived to the
recipient.
