I would PM those bookcrossers and let them know. But don't be too disappointed if no one responds. I use to "beat the bushes" and try to get members in my city to join us for the meet-ups. I would PM 15-25 people and only have one turn up! Give it a try and good luck. ~Sissyrun~

I started by just giving her books as I finished reading them, but now I've gotten into it more deeply. I think readers are just really cool people and I want to be friends with more of us! I recently set up a Zone (at the Keva Juice in Carson City Nevada USA) and want to spread the word. It seems like a logical place to start would be with the local bookcrossers - and there are 38 in Carson City! So I'm wondering.... 1) why, do y'all suppose, aren't any of them showing up at the Reno Bookcrossers meetings or even signed into the Yahoo group for Reno bookcrossers (Reno is only 1/2 hour from Carson) and 2) is there a way to efficiently make them aware of the Zone and the Reno group? Thanks!
