Hi Karen: Thanks for the advice. I just need to figure out how to do a search for a book title with more than one word, like "The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood" came up with 0, then I typed Ya-Ya, and there were 24 hits.
I'm going to try my first wild-release. Are most people registered to receive "notification" when a wild-release happens in their area? Vancouver seems to be pretty active BC-wise (which, interestingly, is also the abbreviation for our Province, British Columbia), so I'll keep my fingers crossed. I'll release it (Beloved) on Monday. If someone wants to save me the trouble of researching, what does it cost to ship a book the cheapest way from Canada? When I have that figured out, I can start with the RABCK's. Theresa Theresa - searching the wishlist is easy (and it is what I do) to find wishers for books I am done with. Go to http://cliff1976.com/BC/ and on the left side click on search wishes. In the Search For box just type in the name of the book or the author. Click search and those wishing for the book appear. I then click on the BCer's name to see where they live. I currently can't send a lot of books overseas, so I try to find people in the US. If there are a lot of wishers, then sometimes I try to start a book ray. If I search by author, say James Patterson, I hit search and when that comes up (a lot of pages) I hit the triangle symbol next to "title" and the page is re-organized alphabetically by title.
