Hi Sis,

It was a great book! The language was beautifully poetic without losing my
interest in the life-stories of each character.... and the characters were so
alive and amazingly complex. I haven't watched the movie yet so I don't know
if it will be like the book, but I would highly recommend you read the book
first. It is a wonderful book filled with detailed descriptions of beautiful
scenery backgrounded by the ravishings of war and complexity. If you'd like
the book I still have it available.

How was The English Patient? Is that the book that the movie was
based off of? I just bought the movie not too long ago and haven't watched it
yet.

Hi,

I used to reach much more before my daughter was born, but have tried to pick
it up again. I have read the following books this month:

The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje
The All of It by Jeannette Haien
Sula by Toni Morrison

If anyone is interested in my opinions on each book, please feel free to reply.
