I really liked the movie, but just couldn't get into the book. I couldn't find
the audio version in my library. Interesting that John Irving has woven
references to The English Patient into the plot of one of his books, The Third
Hand. By the way he talks about it in that book, he must really love the book,
but he wasn't impressed by the movie.

How was The English Patient? Is that the book that the movie was
based off of? I just bought the movie not too long ago and haven't watched it
yet.

Hi,
I used to reach much more before my daughter was born, but have tried to pick
it up again. I have read the following books this month:
The English Patient by Michael Ondaatje
The All of It by Jeannette Haien
Sula by Toni Morrison
If anyone is interested in my opinions on each book, please feel free to reply.
