I finished it today and thought it a good book for a ring. Anthony Bourdain is an executive chef at Brasserie Les Halles in New York City. What he offers in this non-fictional book,is an honest, even vulgar, but fascinating account of kitchen life. He tells the story of his fascination with food and the process of cooking. It`s a culinar adventure, tasty and gripping. He uncovers the dirty secrets of restaurant cooking but also the amazing level of good organisation and skills necessary for providing a good service. I enjoyed the book from the beginning to the end. I enjoyed his style which was so direct and sometimes raw. I love food and I love eating out so it was a big fun for me to learn more about the hidden side of dining out.
