Oohh, what a lovely response! Congrats! Especially since they said it wasn't
usual to receive any reply. Awww, that's just really so nice and good to know
the books will be enjoyed.

I just found out about that site last week and made a premature New Year's
Resolution to send out at least one care package to a soldier every month.

What sort of books did you send?

Peace,
KateKintail

Subject: [BookCrossing] books released thru AnySoldier.com

Several weeks ago I sent a couple of books off thru the AnySoldier.com
program. Yesterday in the mail I received a *very* nice personal letter
from the US Army Lieutenant who received those books! He is currently
stationed in Iraq, somewhere near Baghdad. Any care packages he receives
are passed around & shared with the other guys in his unit. His letter was
so nice, and he was so grateful for the support from home. He said
receiving packages does wonders for the morale of the troops.

No JE on the books yet, but a letter like this is even better! I *know*
those books are being enjoyed by several appreciative readers.
