I don't know about others but one thing I like about this list and bookcrossing
is the way I find new books to put on my TBR list. There are never enough ways
to find a good book to read.
My youngest daughter is lucky to read much at all just now. Every one has his
own time to read and some more than others. I would rather be able to get out
and walk or go back to my old hobby of caving and doing a survey of a cave. But
we all have times when we have to change our lifestyle and not hiking and
seeing the sun over the mountain any more is just the way my life is now. So I
read about it. Please keep posting your lists - the other thing is we seem to
have such a wide range of ages, occupations and even places we live that give
variety to our reads. Sorry if I miss any typos - that is a thing I have to
live with too - fingers that do not work well any more.
Wish I was back boping pits and crawling tubes in a cave.

Oh, I don't think there are any expectations you be a speed reader

I normally read about 3 to 4 books a month. This January I broke all my
records with 9.5. I've joined several reading challenges and that has motivated
me
to read more. I suspect I will slip back into my "normal" reading amount
eventually.

Please don't keep your "measly" list to yourself!! I'm sure it would
encourage the rest of us who are not speed readers to keep going. I
have to say (being a newbie) after seeing some of the lists I'm not
sure I belong here because although I'm an avid reader there is NO WAY
I'm gonna be able to read more than 2 or 3 (maybe 4 if one or two is
small) in one month.
