Hello, Marion,

I am brand new to this list as well. So far I've released eight books
and had two caught. The people who journalled about the two caught books
told some amazing stories.

The first book was a novel by crime writer C.J. Box, who sets his
mysteries in Wyoming and the mountain west of the U.S. The person who
caught the book said he was just walking by Barnes and Noble, where I'd
left the it, and the book called out to him. He hadn't read a book in
years, but he devoured this one, partly because it reminded him of his
childhood in the Dakotas. The other book, a travel guide to Costa Rica,
ended up with a couple who were just about to take a trip there. Again,
they were just walking by the bench on which I'd left the book. I was
really blown away by these two stories.

Unfortunately, the other books haven't been quite as "sticky."

I love needlework and textile arts as well. I once bought two raw
fleeces in England and brought them back to the U.S. to spin. I made
sweaters from the yarn.

I live in Los Angeles and am American, but my husband is from the UK,
and I know it pretty well, although not the Isle of Wight...yet. <g>

Best,
Paula
