I've had an Iris Murdoch phase, a Doris Lessing phase, a John Irving phase <wince>, an Anne McCaffrey phase, a Peter Carey phase, and a thirty-book-strong Terry Pratchett phase which shows no signs of ending. Sadly, not only do I own the whole collection, but I bought the entire whole collection for a friend's Fiftieth, and I'm starting to bookcross copies as well (my own are going nowhere!).
