LibraryThing.com is great & fun. I also have a basic Excel database to have all my info in an easily copyable form. LibraryThing is nice because it also gives you 'off-site' (aka not in your house) storage for the list. I also have Media Manager, which I really like. It also will do music, videos, and software.
