Personally, I think this is a rather ingenious way to bring publicity to the 
fact that reading is ever on a decline.  Yes, it is sad that some books are 
dying, but it is for a cause and when I saw this on ther news last night (in 
Michigan!  Like I said, the man is getting PUBLICITY!), it looked like books 
could be saved from the flames if someone was willing to pay $1 for it.  I 
think if more people start to read for leisure (even just 1!) because of this 
guy's publicity stunt, it is totally worth it.
